Designed and made in France, the Focal 1000 IWLCR Utopia carries the most ambitious name in the Focal catalogue into the wall itself. This three-way loudspeaker arranges four 'W' composite-sandwich bass drivers around two 'M'-shaped 'W' midrange drivers and a pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter in a d'Appolito configuration, an arrangement chosen to concentrate energy toward the listener and to keep imaging precise even at the scale a reference theatre demands.
Equipped with a symmetrical, positionable midrange and treble plate, the 1000 IWLCR Utopia can be aimed directly at the seating and deployed as front left, centre or right without any shift in character across the stage. Its four bass drivers deliver deep, controlled low frequencies with effortless authority, while the Beryllium tweeter holds fine detail and atmosphere intact through the most demanding passages. It can be bi-amplified, and extended further with the matching 1000 IWSUB Utopia via the supplied Speakon cable.
Engineered with a sealed enclosure of MDF and aluminium and concealed behind a paintable magnetic grille, the 1000 IWLCR Utopia is built for architecture-grade integration in the most serious dedicated theatres and high-end homes. It is a loudspeaker that gives up nothing in performance and asks for nothing in return but a wall — and once the grille is painted, the only evidence it exists is the extraordinary thing that happens when the lights go down.

Returns for Change of Mind
We understand that sometimes you might change your mind. We may, at our discretion, offer a return for items within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible, your item must be in brand new, unused condition and in its original, unopened packaging.
Please choose carefully, as we do not typically offer refunds for a change of mind. We may, however, provide an exchange or store credit instead. Please note that a restocking fee of up to 15% may be deducted from your credit or refund to cover our supplier costs.
