This home theatre was meticulously designed from the ground up to maximize performance while preserving the clean lines and understated luxury of the rest of the home. This required developing innovative solutions to conceal the substantial amount of hardware without compromising system performance. The anamorphic projection screen, equipped with motorized masking, is made of a micro-perforated fabric, allowing the Bowers and Wilkins Custom Theatre Speakers to be hidden behind it. This not only keeps the speakers out of sight but also positions them perfectly for realistic sound production.

Bass response was a critical factor for our client, so we specified four 15-inch Rel Subwoofers, which were concealed in custom-ported cabinetry. This design allows bass energy to escape without reverberation or performance loss. For a full surround effect, we included four flush-mounted in-ceiling Atmos speakers and four flush-mounted in-wall surround speakers. To conceal these speakers and further enhance performance, we used custom acoustic treatment paneling from Artnovion. These panels feature matching “dummy” panels that enable our speakers to be installed behind them and completely out of sight.

Achieving this required significant coordination with the builder, cabinet maker, and our client. The end result was truly breathtaking, exceeding all expectations.

This included the installation of a dedicated technology rack, serving as the central hub where all the cabling converges and housing all essential equipment for seamless operation
