1000 IWSUB Utopia

Designed and made in France, the Focal 1000 IWSUB Utopia solves the hardest problem in a concealed system: genuine low-frequency authority with nothing in the room to show for it. Three 'W' composite-sandwich woofers are loaded into a sealed in-wall enclosure of MDF and aluminium, an engineering choice made for linearity and control rather than the exaggerated bloom a lesser design would settle for.

Equipped with three dedicated woofers working together in a sealed enclosure, the 1000 IWSUB Utopia delivers deep, taut low frequencies that arrive with weight and stop exactly when the recording does. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically to suit the wall, and its selectable impedance allows multiple units to be combined and matched to the driving amplifier as the scale of the installation demands.

Engineered as the natural partner to the 1000 IWLCR Utopia and supplied with a Speakon cable for pairing, this passive in-wall subwoofer sits behind a paintable magnetic grille and vanishes into architecture-grade joinery and wall finishes. It is bass you feel in your chest and in the floor beneath you, from a room that appears to contain no loudspeakers whatsoever — which is, for the listener who has thought carefully about every surface, exactly the point.

Returns for Change of Mind

We understand that sometimes you might change your mind. We may, at our discretion, offer a return for items within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible, your item must be in brand new, unused condition and in its original, unopened packaging.

Please choose carefully, as we do not typically offer refunds for a change of mind. We may, however, provide an exchange or store credit instead. Please note that a restocking fee of up to 15% may be deducted from your credit or refund to cover our supplier costs.

You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.

If Your Item is Faulty

All of our new products are covered by a full manufacturer's warranty, which is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us right away at info@surrounds.com.au or (08) 9389 6900 so we can get it resolved for you.

• For a minor issue, we'll arrange a repair or replacement.
• For a major issue, you are entitled to your choice of a refund or a replacement.

We will cover the cost of return shipping for any confirmed faulty items.
