This two-way loudspeaker pairs a 'W' composite-sandwich bass-midrange driver with a pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter set in a waveguide for controlled directivity, and houses them in a closed-back enclosure of MDF and aluminium so its performance is defined by Focal's engineering rather than by whatever happens to be inside the wall.
Equipped with a positionable tweeter and a treble level trim, the 1000 IW6 delivers the linear, well-controlled low frequencies of a traditional cabinet loudspeaker together with the transparency and precision the Beryllium tweeter is known for. Voices are natural and present, imaging is stable and convincing, and the balance holds together whether it is serving a serious two-channel system or the front channels of a home cinema.
Engineered for architecture-grade integration and finished behind a magnetic grille, with an optional assembly kit and on-wall frame for new construction or surface mounting, the 1000 IW6 is a genuine high-fidelity loudspeaker that happens to live inside the wall. Returns for Change of Mind
We understand that sometimes you might change your mind. We may, at our discretion, offer a return for items within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible, your item must be in brand new, unused condition and in its original, unopened packaging.
Please choose carefully, as we do not typically offer refunds for a change of mind. We may, however, provide an exchange or store credit instead. Please note that a restocking fee of up to 15% may be deducted from your credit or refund to cover our supplier costs.
